ICultivation Objectives

1. Overall cultivation objectives

The Financial Management major aims to cultivate well-rounded individuals who meet the needs of socialist modernization. This includes development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor, embracing socialist values. Graduates will possess knowledge and skills in finance, banking, law, and other economic and management fields. They will be capable of undertaking tasks in accounting, financial reporting, capital raising, operations, allocation, as well as financial forecasting, decision-making, planning, organizing, controlling, and analysis in various enterprises, businesses, and government departments.

2.Goals to be achieved within five years after graduation

(1)Embrace sustainable development values and social responsibility, adhering to professional ethical standards in finance.

(2)Possess professional skills in accounting, financial reporting, capital management, and financial analysis in enterprises, businesses, and government departments.

(3)Have strong teamwork and communication skills, with the abilities to lead or implement simple financial decision-making projects.

(4)Maintain a lifelong learning attitude, with a CPA perspective, adaptable to the continuously changing socio-economic environment.

(5)Maintain physical health and a stable psychological state, ready to undertake significant responsibilities in future societal development.

IIAcademic Requirements for Program Completion

Graduation Requirements and Degree Conferral

Students of this major must complete the minimum credits required by the various courses according to the requirements of the guiding cultivation plan, and complete the corresponding extracurricular arrangements. Students can graduate only when they reach at least 153 credits; those who meet the requirements for the conferral of a bachelor's degree will be awarded a Bachelor of Economics or Management degree.

Program duration

Flexible academic period, generally 4 years, with a flexible range of no less than 3 years and no more than 6 years.

1.Elective Course Selection Guidelines:

Elective courses in the major are divided into different modules based on various skill requirements. Students must choose one module and attain the required credits for that module.

(1) Module A: Focuses on internal corporate management.

(2) Module B: Focuses on external corporate investments.

(3) Module C: Focuses on enhancing students' professional competence.

2.Relationship between Professional Qualifications and Courses:

Students who study courses such as Principles of Accounting, Economic Law (Finance), Financial Accounting I, Financial Accounting II, Financial Management I, Financial Management II, Auditing, Tax Law and Tax Accounting, Internal Control, Venture Capital, and Corporate Strategic Management can participate in professional qualification examinations related to this major: Junior Accountant and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Students who obtain the Junior Accountant qualification certificate can apply for course exemptions and receive corresponding credits for Principles of Accounting and Economic Law (Finance).

VIISecond Classroom Credits Policy

Through the development of the Second Classroom activities, students are encouraged to actively participate in academic lectures, social practice activities, campus cultural and sports activities, innovation and entrepreneurship activities, volunteer service activities, etc., to cultivate the students' social adaptability and quality, and enhance the students' employability.
